Softball Recap: Gooding Takes a Loss

After soaring to 25 runs the game before, Gooding was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Middleton Vikings by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Senators have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Gooding's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Middleton, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Coincidentally, Gooding and Middleton will both be playing Fruitland the next time they take the field. Gooding will host Fruitland at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Middleton will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
