For the second straight game, West Texas will face off against Highland Park. The Comanches will host the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Texas has three straight victories, Highland Park has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, West Texas made easy work of Highland Park and carried off a 17-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Comanches, who have now won eight matches by ten runs or more so far this season.
Haven Lee made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
