If Cole Camp wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Crest Ridge, they should've done a better job of containing Kayley Marten. The Crest Ridge Cougars were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over the Cole Camp Blue Birds on Thursday thanks in part to Marten, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Laney Wilhite, who posted eight points. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Crest Ridge's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Cole Camp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.

Crest Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-34 victory against Sweet Springs on the 18th. Cole Camp has also already played their next matchup (against Bunceton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
