It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Putnam City North had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 89-23 victory over the Grant Generals. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Nykaiya Dillard was her usual excellent self, going 6-for-10 on her way to 14 points and eight steals. Those eight steals gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kiana Gray, who posted 12 points and five steals.

Putnam City North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win (which was Putnam City North's 16th in a row) raised their record to 24-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for Grant, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

As of now, neither Putnam City North nor Grant have any future games scheduled.
