Basketball Game Preview: Berrien Springs Shamrocks vs. Howardsville Christian Eagles

The Berrien Springs Shamrocks will face off against the Howardsville Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Berrien Springs has four straight wins, Howardsville Christian has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Berrien Springs will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Paw Paw, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Berrien Springs pulled ahead with a 67-66 photo finish over Paw Paw on Monday.

Meanwhile, Howardsville Christian came up short against Athens on Monday and fell 45-38.

Berrien Springs' victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. As for Howardsville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
