Baseball Game Preview: Paramus Spartans vs. Hackensack Comets

For the second straight game, Paramus will face off against Hackensack. The Spartans will take on the Comets at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Paramus comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Hackensack hit Paramus with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans lost 10-4 to the Comets.

For Hackensack's part, the team relied heavily on Matt Feehan, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave Feehan a new career-high. Aj Oates also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hackensack kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Paramus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hackensack, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
