Soccer Recap: Winder-Barrow Comes Up Short

Winder-Barrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Loganville Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Bulldoggs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Red Devils are ranked 45th).

Winder-Barrow's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Loganville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winder-Barrow will square off against Stephens County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Winder-Barrow has given up an average of 4.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Loganville, they will take on Parkview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
