Baseball Recap: The Academy Comes Up Short

The Academy Wildcats came up short against the Denver Christian Thunder on Thursday, falling 13-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Turner, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

The Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Denver Christian, their record is now 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. The Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Prospect Ridge Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Denver Christian will square off against rival Peak to Peak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
