Basketball Recap: Shoals Comes Up Short

Shoals and Vincennes Rivet squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Shoals had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 53-15 loss at the hands of the Vincennes Rivet Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 59 points in the game before, the Jug Rox couldn't push the score so high this time.

Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Vincennes Rivet, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Shoals does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vincennes Rivet, they and Orleans will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
