Soccer Recap: Broughton Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Broughton was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders. Broughton haven't had much luck with Cardinal Gibbons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Broughton now has a losing record of 7-8-3. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broughton will square off against Enloe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Enloe's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they will face off against Athens Drive at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
