Softball Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. North East Grape Pickers
Seneca had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. Their rough 10-3 defeat to the North East Grape Pickers might stick with them for a while. Seneca was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North East apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
For North East's part, Cadence Jones was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Lyndsie Hill was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
North East now has a winning record of 2-1.
Seneca will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Union City at 4:30 p.m. As for North East, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
