Baseball Recap: ED White Takes a Loss

ED White was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-15 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harvest Community Warriors. If the Commanders were looking for revenge after losing 19-3 to them when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Donny Moore and Silas Carr did some serious damage despite the final result: Moore scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-5, while Carr scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those two runs gave Carr a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyon Wallace, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

ED White's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

ED White wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 25-6 loss against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 19th. As for Harvest Community, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Old Plank Christian Academy on the 14th.
