Volleyball Recap: Reese Vogel and Audrey Plzak Secure Win for Southern Door

Southern Door hadn't done well against Sevastopol recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Pioneers 2-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Leading Southern Door to victory were Audrey Plzak and Reese Vogel. Plzak had ten digs, while Vogel had eight digs and one assist. That's the most digs Plzak has posted since back in October of 2024.

Southern Door didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Crandon on the 26th. As for Sevastopol, they will take on Dodgeland in a tournament on Friday.
