Basketball Recap: Holgate Comes Up Short

Holgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 40-30 to the Tinora Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten points.

Holgate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Tinora, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holgate will head out to challenge Edon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bombers have insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests. As for Tinora, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kalida at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
