Methuen is a perfect 9-0 against Dracut since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rangers will venture away from home to take on the Middies at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Methuen will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Haverhill, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rangers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hillies on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

While Methuen might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Haverhill scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Dracut narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lawrence 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Middies in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won four in a row.

Dracut wouldn't go down easily and took Lawrence into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 10-25, 17-25, 25-17, 15-7.

Methuen's record is now 12-6. As for Dracut, their record now sits at 7-10.

Methuen beat Dracut 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
