Baseball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Comes Up Short

Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost against Mira Costa back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves lost 8-1 to the Mira Costa Mustangs. The loss was the Wolves' first of the season.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edward Sanchez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wiseburn- Da Vinci fell to 3-1. As for Mira Costa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wiseburn- Da Vinci will be taking part in a tournament against West at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wiseburn- Da Vinci is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.8 runs per game this season. As for Mira Costa, they will take on South in a tournament on Tuesday.
