Basketball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson was the 49-42 winner over East Aurora when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Wilson Lakemen took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Aurora Blue Devils on Friday.

Despite the loss, Wilson still got an impressive performance from Emily Phillips, who posted six points in addition to six steals and five assists. The dominant performance gave Phillips a new career-high in assists.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wilson will host Royalton-Hartland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Aurora, they are taking a road trip to face off against West Seneca East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
