Football Recap: Yerington Comes Up Short

Yerington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons, falling 43-8. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Yerington now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Yerington will square off against rival Incline at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Coral Academy of Science - Reno is set to face off against their familiar foe West Wendover at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
