Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mountain Ridge lost against Northern Garrett back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Miners fell 3-1 to the Huskies. While the Miners didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-21 in the first set.

Mountain Ridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

Mountain Ridge dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Northern Garrett, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Mountain Ridge will face off against Allegany on Monday. As for Northern Garrett, they will venture away from home to challenge Frankfort at 7:10 p.m. on Monday.
