Soccer Recap: Telluride Comes Up Short

Telluride's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Ridgway Demons, falling 4-1. Telluride haven't had much luck with Ridgway recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Telluride's goal came courtesy of Luciana Du Toit, which was the first she's scored this season.

Telluride's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Ridgway, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Telluride didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Bayfield on the 1st. As for Ridgway, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-3 draw against Salida on the 2nd.
