Basketball Recap: St. Paul Academy-Summit Comes Up Short

St. Paul Academy-Summit was the 78-64 winner over Providence Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans fell 78-66 to the Providence Academy Lions on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (62), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

St. Paul Academy-Summit's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Providence Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-14 record this season.

Coming up, St. Paul Academy-Summit will venture away from home to face off against Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Academy has already played their next matchup (against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia]), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
