The victory got Mount Horeb back to even at 7-7-1. As for McFarland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Everything went McFarland's way against Mount Horeb when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as McFarland made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
