Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Turner Ashby). Everything went their way against the East Rockingham Eagles on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-1 win. Ayden VanHorn was a massive factor in the win as he booted in eight goals all by himself.

Turner Ashby was without their leading scorer, Fredy 'Daniel' Hernandez, in Tuesday's matchup. With Hernandez sitting this one out, David Bondaruk got some extra time on the pitch (60 vs. his season average of 31.9).

Turner Ashby pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those eight contests. As for East Rockingham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
