Basketball Recap: Holbrook Piles Up the Points Against South Shore Charter Public

Holbrook waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the South Shore Charter Public Jaguar 53-12. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 27 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ashya Dingle, who posted 16 points and four steals. Her afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Dylan Lucci-McShain was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

Holbrook smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Holbrook's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.3 points per game. As for South Shore Charter Public, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Holbrook won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wareham at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Shore Charter Public does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
