Basketball Recap: Palmetto Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Palmetto was handed a 33-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal 46-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-43 last Thursday.

Brashier Middle College Charter's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Andy Burdick, who went 7 of 17 on his way to 21 points, and Andrew Hutchens, who posted seven points in addition to 17 rebounds and six assists. Those six assists gave Hutchens a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sam Hagan, who had four points and four steals.
