Volleyball Game Preview: Raleigh Lions vs. Pisgah Dragons

Raleigh is 0-3 against Pisgah since August of 2024 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will face off against the Dragons at 3:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Raleigh came up short against Scott Central and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pisgah, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Quitman on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-17, 25-9.

Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Pisgah, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Raleigh suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Pisgah in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
