Franklinton had won six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 3-1 to make it seven. They strolled past the Bunn Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 51-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Rams also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bunn fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the defeat, Bunn saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ny'lah Mitchell posted 12 points and five boards.

Looking ahead, Franklinton will square off against Middle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bunn, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Millbrook at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
