Softball Recap: White Knoll Gets the Win

White Knoll's tournament run continued when they took on Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Friday. White Knoll walked away with a 7-3 win over Bamberg-Ehrhardt.

EG Birchmore tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Reginae Porterfield, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Dakota Jenkins also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

White Knoll now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Knoll will face off against Chapin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they will take on Bridges Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bridges Prep has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.5 runs per game on average), something Bamberg-Ehrhardt will no doubt try to take advantage of.
