Football Preview: Battle Ground Tigers vs. Bothell Cougars
The Battle Ground Tigers will face off against the Bothell Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ethan Adams was his usual excellent self, throwing for 241 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 31 yards. He is becoming a predictor of Battle Ground's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Bothell found their leader in sophomore Mylez Welch, who rushed for 212 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. Those 212 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Welch.
Battle Ground now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bothell, their record is now 6-2.
