Baseball Recap: Benicia Takes a Loss

Benicia lost against Clayton Valley Charter on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Ugly Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton Rowles made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Benicia's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-4 record this season.

Benicia will head out to challenge College Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will welcome Acalanes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Dons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
