Football Recap: Leo Victorious

Leo's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 13-7 W over the Amundsen Vikings. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 13-12 loss the last time these two teams met.

Derrick Davis threw for 48 yards and one touchdown.

Leo has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 29.5 points this season. As for Amundsen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Leo will venture away from home to challenge St. Patrick at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Amundsen, they will challenge King at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
