Baseball Recap: Logan County Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

Logan County came out on top against Westmoreland on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Cougars blew past the Eagles 9-3.

The team relied heavily on Drew McLellan, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyndon Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Logan County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Westmoreland, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9-1.
