Volleyball Recap: Steele Comets vs. Strongsville Mustangs

After flying high against Avon Lake on Monday, Steele came back down to earth. The Comets came up short against the Strongsville Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-15.

Mason Lymer paced Steele's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lymer got some help from David Lewis and his 12 assists.

Steele's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-11. As for Strongsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
