Volleyball Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short

Clovis lost against Friona back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Chieftans, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Clovis was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Friona's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 27-25.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Friona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Clovis will face off against Lovington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Friona, they will challenge Dimmitt at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
