Baseball Recap: North Forney Comes Up Short

North Forney was the 8-0 winner over MacArthur when they last played one another back in February of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The North Forney Falcons lost 8-2 to the MacArthur Cardinals on Saturday.

North Forney's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for MacArthur, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

North Forney will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Forney at 2:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for MacArthur, they will be taking part in a tournament against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Trinity: 3.1, MacArthur: 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
