Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Academy played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 61-31 defeat at the hands of the Hyde Park Panthers. Grace Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-10.

Grace Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Hyde Park, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Grace Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hyde Park on January 3, 2025. Hyde Park's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Grace Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Hyde Park has already played their next match, a 46-30 victory against Austin Royals HomeSchool on the 20th.
