Volleyball Recap: Aurora West College Prep Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Aurora West College Prep Academy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves, falling 3-0. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Aurora West College Prep Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Twin Peaks Classical Academy work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-18, 25-20.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy found their leader in sophomore Ari Esch, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Esch.

Aurora West College Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora West College Prep Academy will square off against STEM School Highlands Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, they will take on Nederland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Timberwolves are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
