North Callaway waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They slipped by the Russellville Indians 58-57. For the Thunderbirds, this counts as revenge for the 59-55 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

North Callaway got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie Shryock out in front who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Shryock, who put up 12 points.

North Callaway has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Russellville, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

North Callaway has already played their next contest (against Hermann), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Russellville will challenge Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
