Volleyball Recap: Dugger Union Takes a Loss

Dugger Union lost against Wood Memorial back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-9, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Dugger Union saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Karleigh Disney had 11 digs.

Dugger Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wood Memorial, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Dugger Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North Central on the 11th. As for Wood Memorial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against North Knox on the 15th.
