Plateau Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Vail Christian, who was ranked 20th in their home state at the time (Plateau Valley was ranked 18th). A healthy portion of that aerial production (80 yards to be exact) also went to Jackson Steinle, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Plateau Valley pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for West Grand, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Plateau Valley beat West Grand 48-36 when the teams last played back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plateau Valley since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
