Clovis East is 9-1 against Clovis since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Clovis East Timberwolves will face off against the Clovis Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Clovis took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clovis East, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Clovis East needed a bit of extra time to put away Clovis West. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 54-53 win over the Golden Eagles.

Meanwhile, Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a hard 65-46 fall against Clovis North. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Broncos are ranked 16th).

Clovis East's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 17-8. As for Clovis, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Clovis East strolled past Clovis when the teams last played two weeks ago by a score of 67-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clovis East since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
