Football Recap: La Salle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

La Salle managed to slip by St. Genevieve the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers were dealt a 42-8 defeat at the hands of the Valiants on Friday. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Valiants apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Ben Stoll threw for 103 yards and one TD. Drew Ward was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Alexandros Darlas rushed for 58 yards.

Michael Wynn had a dynamite game For St. Genevieve., throwing for 462 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80.6% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. Jayden Lepley was Wynn's top target, picking up 101 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

This is the second loss in a row for La Salle and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for St. Genevieve, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

La Salle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-7 defeat against Claremont on the 19th. As for St. Genevieve, they have also already played their next game, a 49-0 win against Bosco Tech on the 19th.
