Maplewood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Wellsville Tigers 68-16 on Tuesday. The Rockets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Maplewood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Claire Urchek, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to rack up 24 points. The dominant performance also gave Urchek a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%). Morgan Himes was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine assists.

The victory (which was Maplewood's sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points over those games. As for Wellsville, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Maplewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-45 defeat against Mogadore on the 22nd. Wellsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
