Soccer Recap: Wilmer-Hutchins Takes a Loss

Wilmer-Hutchins fell victim to North Dallas and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the North Dallas Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 183rd).

Wilmer-Hutchins' loss dropped their record down to 9-4-5. As for North Dallas, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-0-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmer-Hutchins will square off against A Plus Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. As for North Dallas, they will challenge Inspired Vision at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Dallas' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Inspired Vision's offense will have their work cut out for them.
