Baseball Game Preview: El Paso-Gridley Titans vs. MacArthur Generals

The El Paso-Gridley Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the MacArthur Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for El Paso-Gridley and four for MacArthur.

El Paso-Gridley's last matchup with Tremont could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Wednesday. The Titans came up short against the Turks, falling 12-6.

Elliott Toth made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Dominic Ricconi, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, MacArthur fell victim to Sacred Heart-Griffin and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Cyclones.

El Paso-Gridley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for MacArthur, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-6.
