Basketball Game Preview: Excel Panthers vs. Monroe County Tigers

Excel is 2-8 against Monroe County since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Excel has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Excel received a blow as they fell 66-47 to Shields.

Meanwhile, Monroe County came up short against Opp on Thursday and fell 75-64. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Excel's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Monroe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
