Softball Recap: Pieper Comes Up Short

While it was Pieper who put the first points on the board on Tuesday, it was Veterans Memorial who put up more. The Warriors lost 15-4 to the Patriots. The Warriors have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Pieper's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Veterans Memorial, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Pieper will venture away from home to face off against Smithson Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rangers will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Veterans Memorial, they will host New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Unicorns a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
