Baseball Game Preview: Cornersville Bulldogs vs. Moore County Raiders

Cornersville hasn't had much luck against Moore County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cornersville Bulldogs will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Moore County Raiders at 6:30 p.m.

Cornersville is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 13-3 to Moore County last Monday.

For Moore County's part, Cole Taylor made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Taylor was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Luke Stephens was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Aiden Webster, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
