Aldine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the MacArthur Generals 35-0. The Mustangs lost against the Generals in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 14-6 score last time.

Aldine wouldn't let MacArthur keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Aldine can thank Ronnie Nolbert and Dereon Williams for forcing both of them.

MacArthur found their leader in underclassman Lance Nero, who rushed for 39 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (142 yards to be exact) went to Julian Ponce, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Aldine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for MacArthur, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Aldine has already played their next game, a 56-7 loss against Westfield on the 17th. As for MacArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 61-13 defeat against Spring on the 18th.
