Recap: Trinity Christian Falcons vs. Propel Andrew Street Panthers
The Trinity Christian Falcons fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Propel Andrew Street Panthers on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity Christian in their matchups with Propel Andrew Street: they've now lost three in a row.
Propel Andrew Street got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tadj Cohen out in front who scored 14 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cohen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmir Calhoun, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Propel Andrew Street, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Trinity Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Portersville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Propel Andrew Street, they will be playing at home against Calvary Chapel Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
